Earn money while helping kids as a HopSkipDrive CareDriver

According to Los Angeles-based CareDriver Mahmudul, earning money while doing something he loves to do — helping families and kids in his community — makes the experience of being a CareDriver worthwhile.

HopSkipDrive was playing a very, very central role to a community — a very, very helpful role — and I wanted to be a part of that.

Hello, my name is Mahmudul. I am a HopSkipDrive CareDriver in Los Angeles. When I first got to know HopSkipDrive back in 2017, I loved their goal. They wanted to provide a safe drive for the kids who were the most vulnerable section of the community.

I always loved to help kids. I have been an uncle for like 10 years, and I have seen my nieces and nephews grow up. And I saw the hardship that my sisters and my cousins were having in taking them to school and taking them back to home. So I felt that HopSkipDrive was playing a very, very central role to a community — a very, very helpful role — and I wanted to be a part of that.

When I go to any pickup, I feel like I’m playing a part of the family. I’m playing a role as if I’m a family member to that family. So they trust me with their kids and they know that their kids will be taken to school safely.

It’s good to earn good money by doing what you love to do. So that’s exactly what I got the opportunity to do from the HopSkipDrive platform.

HopSkipDrive is doing a really, really great job. They are helping communities, they’re paying the CareDrivers well. I think everybody’s very happy.
