HopSkipDrive is pleased to announce the hiring of three new executives: Harsit Patel, Sung Kim and Campbell Millum. The proven experience of these three accomplished professionals will bolster the company’s leadership, and play a pivotal role in guiding HopSkipDrive as it continues to move forward through sustained momentum and growth.
Signing on as HopSkipDrive’s President, Harsit Patel will lead the company’s Commercial and Operations efforts. Harsit joins HopSkipDrive after serving as the Head of Walmart GoLocal, where he was responsible for all aspects of the business. He also served as the Head of Courier Operations and Trust & Safety for Uber, growing and optimizing teams at the company across functions. Prior to that, he held various corporate strategy and operating roles at ADP, eBay and IBM.
Sung Kim has joined the HopSkipDrive team as Chief Financial Officer, and will oversee Finance & Strategy, Accounting and People & Talent. Sung recently served as CFO at Hyperice. Before that, he spent seven years in Finance & Strategy at The Honest Company, where he played a critical role in scaling the business to a public company. Prior to his operating roles, he was a private equity investor and investment banker at Merrill Lynch.
Campbell Millum has come onboard as Vice President of Communications & External Affairs. She will lead the company’s Communications, Brand, Content and Product Marketing work. Campbell brings experience leading Communications efforts across various companies, including Lyft, DoorDash and Bird. In those positions, she played a pivotal role in regulatory and legislative campaigns, company expansion initiatives, and corporate and financial efforts.
“Harsit, Sung and Campbell each bring a passion for our mission and a wealth of experience in their fields, particularly tailored to the opportunities in our business and the challenges we’re solving,” says Joanna McFarland, CEO and Co-founder of HopSkipDrive. “Today, we serve more than 16,000 schools and have logged over 20 million safe miles and completed 2 million rides. As we continue to grow and deliver for schools, districts and families, it’s critical that we have strong leaders in place. I’m thrilled to be partnering with this team.”
With the addition of these three new leaders, we’re well positioned to accelerate our growth and cement our market leadership. As always, we remain committed to continually raising the bar on safe, transparent and reliable student transportation that gives parents, caregivers and districts peace of mind while also providing new opportunities for CareDrivers.
Welcome, Harsit, Sung and Campbell!
